During the holiday season, many families purchase essential oils to purify the air. However, a lot of people don’t use them correctly, which prevents the fragrance from reaching its full potential. As a professional reed diffuser supplier, we would like to remind you that there are some key tips to master in order to maximize the diffusion of the aroma.
The purpose of essential oils is to disperse their fragrance throughout the room, offering benefits such as air purification, mood enhancement, antibacterial properties, and insect repellent. Reed diffusers are commonly used in households. Firstly, when you open a new bottle of essential oil, insert the reed sticks into the bottle. After about two hours, when the reed sticks have absorbed a sufficient amount of oil, take them out and insert them back into the bottle. This ensures that the reed sticks, now saturated with oil, can fully release their fragrance into the air.
Secondly, the number of reed sticks to be used depends on the size of the room. For smaller areas like bedrooms or bathrooms, two to three sticks are sufficient, while larger spaces like the living room may require four to six sticks. After some time, even though there may still be oil left in the bottle, you may notice the scent has diminished. This is because the reed sticks have become saturated. Therefore, don’t forget to replace the reed sticks every month.
